1 School 1 Day is a unique event created to generate funds to build one school project in Ethiopia, implemented through our charity partner, imagine1day. 2000 Participants will be taking part in one hour of activity on September 7, 2013. This event will be followed by a 1 School 1 Day Celebration to recognize the affiliates, sponsors and participants, and the celebrate the success of our share efforts
What is 1 School 1 Day?
1 School 1 Day is a unique event inspired by imagine1day’s goal that all Ethiopians have access to quality education funded free of foreign aid by 2030. The event will call upon the vibrant health and fitness community of Vancouver to participate in an hour of movement and raise enough funds to build a school in Ethiopia. If you are unable to participate in the event and are looking for another way to support 1School 1 Day, you can donate here.
All proceeds go directly towards a 3 year, self-sustaining community education project that will result in a community in Ethiopia leading a legacy of quality education for the rest of time. Learn more about how imagine1day works.
